Default Pace News - 5/21/08

Hello everyone - I wanted to bring to your attention two items of news regarding PACE.

1. We have been advised that the new Study Manual contains errors in the pages referenced in the Table of Contents. We have updated the Table of Contents, and made it available for download, free-of-charge. To access the correct Table of Contents, please go to the PACE pages in the NFPA website and scroll down to Study Materials. You should see the link directly to the corrected document. We suggest anyone who purchased the Study Manual print this out and insert it into the book. We apologize for this error and frankly we don't know how it happened but we are in communication with the publisher to correct this for future printings. The direct link to the corrected TOC is http://www.paralegals.org/associations/2270/files/Study_Manual_TOC.pdf.

2. The RP Emeritus procedure, approved by the delegates at the last convention has been posted. You will find the forms for application to Emeritus status as well as the reactivation form at the following link: http://www.paralegals.org/associations/2270/files/Application_for_emeritus_status.pdf. Emeritus status is intended for Registered Paralegals who retire or are no longer intending to work as paralegals but want to retain their certification.
